Tomb discovered intact in 1976 at Yinxu by Zheng Zhenxiang's team. Only unlooted Shang royal tomb excavated by archaeologists. Fu Hao identified as Wu Ding's military consort via oracle bones and bronzes. Contained 755 jades including Liangzhu antiques collected by Fu Hao. 468 bronzes with 200+ ritual vessels, 130 weapons, 23 bells. 564 bone objects including 500 hairpins, 20 arrowheads. 6900 cowry shells as currency. 16 human slaves sacrificed along tomb edge. 6 dogs sacrificed in pit below corpse. Wooden chamber held lacquered coffin now rotted. Rare jades link to earlier cultures like Longshan, Hongshan. Bronzes inscribed with her posthumous name Mu Xin cast as grave goods. Fu Hao gathered artifacts from much earlier periods. Tomb outside main royal cemetery, 5.6m x 4m pit. Ancestral hall structure built above ground. Earliest evidence of woman general in China.
