Dr Michael Rappenglueck identified prehistoric lunar calendar in Lascaux caves France. Paintings created 15,000 years ago by Cro-Magnon man during last ice age. Calendar three times older than Neolithic moon map at Knowth Ireland. Dots and squares among bulls antelope horses depict moon phases. One painting shows 13 dots and empty square for half lunar cycle plus new moon. Another shows 27 dots for full lunar cycle days. Pleiades star cluster painted above bull.
