Over-70s comprise 14% of UK population but appear in just 2% of adverts. Pregnant women appear in only 0.1% of adverts. Disabled people are nearly 20% of population but feature in 4% of campaigns. Black people at 4% of population appear in over half of 2022 adverts. Black representation in adverts sharply increased from 2020. Imbalance shows need for more diverse decision-makers in industry.
