Sample shows 5% aphantasia prevalence and 12.1% hyperphantasia. No VVIQ differences by gender, education, or occupation. Males overrepresented in hyperphantasia at 18% vs females at 11%. WEIRD group highest VVIQ mean at 62.36, MENA lowest at 55.12. SEA and WEIRD higher VVIQ than MENA. SEA and WEIRD report higher imagery across all Psi-Q sensory subscales than MENA and Arabian Gulf. Arabian Gulf lowest overall Psi-Q at 7.35. MENA lowest vision imagery at 7.90 vs SEA 8.86. MENA lowest sound imagery at 7.73 vs SEA 8.82. Arabian Gulf and MENA lowest smell imagery vs SEA and WEIRD. SEA higher touch, taste, body, and emotion imagery than MENA and Arabian Gulf. VVIQ positively correlates with all Psi-Q subscales from 0.50 to 0.71. Aphantasics show low Psi-Q vision at 4.23. Hyperphantasics show ceiling Psi-Q vision at 9.77. Youngest group lowest smell and taste imagery. No age effect on VVIQ after post-hoc. South Asia intermediate on most measures.
