Total crimes hit 2,456,413, down 0.3% from 2023. Conventional crime down 0.1% to 1,990,575 cases. Cybercrimes fell 1.4% to 465,838. Online scams dropped 3.1% to 414,133 despite 490% rise since 2016. Sexual offenses climbed 5.7% to 21,159. Penetrative sexual assaults up 6.7% to 5,206. Murders rose 4.5% to 348. Attempted murders down 1.2% to 1,343. Injuries and brawls surged 8.3% to 29,342. Drug trafficking increased 2.4% to 21,533. Kidnappings plunged 13.9% to 105. Property crimes decreased 2.9% overall. Violent robberies down 2.2% to 63,266. Break-ins fell 6.4% to 114,978. Car thefts edged up 0.7% to 33,061. Thefts dropped 2.5% to 649,076. Madrid crime down 2.9% – Aragón up 5.4%.
