Ramesses III had Egyptian E1b1b-V22 Y-DNA, not West African E1b1a.

23andMe claim of Ramesses III matching E1b1a is fake and based on outdated study. Ramesses III carried V22 branch of E, typical Egyptian haplogroup. E1b1a-V38 is West African, distant from ancient Egyptian DNA. Study used shitty STRs instead of accurate SNPs. Other ancient Egyptian DNA studies contaminated or suspicious. Recent ancient Egyptian autosomal DNA matches modern Northern Italians impossibly. Egyptian genetics closer to Turkish than West African. E-V13 Balkan branch closer to Ramesses V22 than to West African V38. V22 and V13 split 7000 years ago but still nearer than sub-Saharan lines. Claim debunked years ago to scam American 23andMe customers. Modern Copts lack unusual haplogroups like E1b1a in pharaohs.
