Gebelein Man 5.3 feet tall, 18-21 years old, ginger hair, healthy teeth. Gebelein Man stabbed under left shoulder blade puncturing lung and rib with 12cm knife. Gebelein Man had rare male tattoos of Barbary sheep and cattle on right shoulder. Female mummy EA32752 had S-shaped clapper tattoos on right arm. Tattoos made of soot for ritual or bravery display. Tattoos more common on ancient Egyptian females. All mummies 4.9-5.3 feet tall. Multiple post-mortem fractures on ribs, femurs, skulls. EA32754 male had brown scalp hair. EA32752 female 5 feet tall with long brown hair. Adolescent EA32753 had worn teeth despite youth. Elderly EA32755 showed senile osteoporosis. Some bodies packed with linen or wrapped in bandages. Graves had minimal goods like pots and flints. Gebelein site possibly early Pharaonic capital.
