India's infamous first position in the "ranking" of slum saturation will probably not be threatened for a long time to come. Rapid, disorderly industrialization and urbanization is doing its job - India's slums are home to 237 million people (although the highest percentage of people living in slums has been recorded in Arfrican Chad - as much as 82 percent of the urban population).
