Dr. Maciej Kawecki, for the first time in the history of our channel, talks to a Nobel Prize winner. Professor Klaus von Klitzing - a German physicist as the official Nobel Prize website indicates "was born in occupied Poland in Sroda Wielkopolska." Mr. Professor is the winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics for his discovery of the quantum Hall effect. He discovered one of the fundamental laws of nature, that electrical resistance can be constant, regardless of the materials used. Just as the speed of light is constant and belongs to the laws of nature, resistance can be constant. In this way, he introduced quantum mechanics to our electronics. Since 1985, Mr. Professor has been director and member of the scientific council of the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Stuttgart. The interview covers topics such as quantum physics, quantum computers, the speed of light, the theory of everything, and Europe's energy transition.
