Join us for an interview in which Dr. Maciej Kawecki and Professor Artur Dubrawski will talk about, among other things, does artificial intelligence actually work? What is the groundbreaking type of AI? Is OpenAI creating strong artificial intelligence? In his conversation with us, the Professor points out that today's AI is still a statistical machine. In doing so, he tries to refute theories about the deeper inference undertaken by the latest AI systems. He points out that his team is working on a "new AI" based on a different, safer paradigm for humans. He talks about the automated scientist whose introduction will change science. Finally, he says that "the biggest problem with AI is that humanity doesn't know if it actually works." When we asked where the person co-directing the machine learning area at the world's leading university came up with such a belief, he replied - because no one has developed any standards to evaluate its effectiveness, along the lines of other areas of technology.
