Scientists from the European EUROfusion consortium, in which Poles also participate, have produced stable plasma, yielding 59 megajoules of energy at the world's largest fusion facility - the JET tokamak in the UK. The important step toward the practical use of fusion was announced Wednesday by the units participating in the research.
