Few compounds today are as important to industry and medicine as titanium dioxide. Some of the issues related to the structure of the surface of materials formed from this compound and the processes taking place in it still remain unclear. Basic research on titanium dioxide at the SOLARIS synchrotron was started by researchers from the IFJ PAN.
