The Chinese search for the elixir of immortality led to the invention of black powder. From nitroglycerin through dynamite and other inventions of Alfred Nobel, to TNT, to hexogen, octogen and HNIW - the history of explosives was presented as part of the Science Festival by Prof. Radoslaw Trębinski of the Military University of Technology.
