Heterogeneous catalysts are widely used in industry. The most effective and widespread catalysts are precious metals such as platinum, but cheaper equivalents are being sought. At the IPC PAS, a novel nanostructured bimetallic composite was presented, opening new horizons in the field of catalysis.
