The Giuseppe and Vanna Cocconi 2021 prize for outstanding achievements in particle astrophysics and cosmology was awarded this year to researchers collaborating on the BOREXINO experiment. This group includes researchers from the Institute of Physics at the Jagiellonian University. The award was given to them by the European Physical Society.
