The process of alpha-particle heating, which maintains the high temperature of fusion fuel, has been observed by scientists from the EUROfusion consortium, including Polish researchers from the Institute of Plasma Physics and Laser Microsynthesis (IFPiLM) in Warsaw. The results of the research campaign show the potential of nuclear fusion as a future energy source.
