There is a clear statistical relationship between global seismic activity and changes in the intensity of cosmic rays recorded near the Earth's surface, representatives of the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences report. This could potentially help predict earthquakes, only the correlation has yet to be clarified.
