Prof. Henryk Witala of the Department of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science at Jagiellonian University has been awarded the Faddeev Medal. This is one of the highest honors in the field of few-nucleon physics, awarded for exceptional contributions to the development of this field of science, the UJ reported.
