Uniquely charged particles are reluctant to react with each other because they repel each other electrostatically. However, scientists have discovered a way to bring them closer together. The new method can speed up the course of the reaction by up to 5 million times, the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences reported.
