Prof. Sęk: MOFs are like chemical magnetic blocks

The metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) noted by the Nobel committee can be compared to magnetic blocks: metal balls connected by sticks. MOFs can be used to create porous materials capable of storing predetermined substances, such as hydrogen, said Prof. Slawomir Sęk of the University of Warsaw.
