What at the quantum level gives particles the properties of liquids? Navier-Stokes equations are used to describe the dynamics of liquids. Researchers at the University of Warsaw's Department of Physics have shown that these equations - which have so far been used to describe classical systems - can also be applied to the description of quantum liquids.
