PersL's luminescent nanoparticles will make it easier to track drugs in the body

Instead of glowing only under the lamp, PersL nanoparticles glow long after the lamp is turned off - and in infrared light, which penetrates tissues better. Research by physicists from Wroclaw shows that their signal remains readable when in contact with blood proteins, and the selected surface coating allows safer tracking of drugs.
