Poles submitted 671 applications to the European Patent Office (EPO) in 2023, more than 10 percent more than a year earlier. The largest number of applications came from the University of Zielona Góra, the AGH University of Science and Technology and Jagiellonian University, according to a press release from the Polish Patent Office.
