No, it wasn't a Mongol, it was a modern European, a white man whose population was switched. Probably like now, they had fewer children than the other races, and the other races flocked to them as best they could, and they displaced them, so today you have a mongol. Secondly, he believes that closer to them genetically are the American Indians, or some Uzbek people, because they are their descendants. It is not true that a descendant must be closer genetically than an extremely distant cousin. If someone has a racially mixed child with a black person, then a random person met on the street is closer to him genetically than his own child. This is exactly what happened in this case.
