A great article, full of data, statistics, based on scientific papers, covering a number of topics related to immigration. The reason for the negative financial balance of immigration turns out to be the racial proportion of immigrants. There is a higher percentage of non-whites in the immigrant group than in the US population. When we present the data with the racial breakdown taken into account, it turns out that the results are virtually without differences. White immigrants benefit from welfare as often as white locals, black immigrants as often as local blacks. The article describes a number of consequences of immigration: falling wages in the economy, increased crime, a political turn to the left, changing the population to a stupider one, crime, lack of assimilation, and the non-existence of the supposed increase in creativity with the influx of (non-white) immigrants. It is wonderful to superimpose on the social welfare data, the race of the immigrants and juxtapose it with the native population. This is confirmed by data from the University of Amsterdam - another post. Interestingly, Hispanics are even more expensive to support than blacks. Interesting point. The article is a comprehensive compedium, the economy is only one of the elements discussed.
