Five staff members at an NHS gender identity clinic in the UK have resigned over concerns that children have already been undergoing unnecessary gender reassignment treatment for three years. The specialists are concerned that some children are being misdiagnosed as transgender, and some are being pressured to change their gender after experiencing homophobic abuse.
