Climate activists use a variety of protest methods, such as street blockades and attacks on artwork, to draw public attention to the climate crisis. However, research shows that these actions often fail to produce the desired results. Even so, activists mainly aim to draw media attention to their actions, rather than to bring about social change or promote environmental awareness.
