A team from RWTH Achen University has conducted a comparative analysis of Tesla and BYD batteries, discovering significant differences in structure, composition and manufacturing. The two manufacturers' cells differ in energy density and welding methods, among other things. The study found that the BYD battery is more efficient due to better thermal management.
