On Thursday, July 25, 2024, the Commercial Division of the District Court in Czestochowa decided to declare the Liberty Czestochowa steel plant bankrupt. A bankruptcy trustee was also appointed, who became the previous administrator of the steel mill's assets, Adrian Dzwonek.
