Research from the University of California, Berkeley, has shown that the most popular herbicide, atrazine, interferes with the sexual development of frogs even at concentrations 30 times lower than acceptable EPA standards. The chemical can cause hermaphroditism in frogs, raising concerns about its intensive use in agriculture.
