Negroes arose only 15,000 years ago, and by then they were the classic hominids - Homo erectus or Homo Heidelbergensis. In the rest of the world, these two hominids ceased to exist about 150,000 years ago. Chris Stringer, in his book Lone Survivors, outlines how forensic technology is providing insights into our origins. It leads to surprising conclusions about the origin of our ancestors and evolution itself. The discovery of the Iwo Eleru skeleton in Nigeria proved to be very significant. Africa offers a rich anatomical and archaeological record from 15,000 years ago. It turns out that at the time when white people were experimenting with agriculture, black people as such were not yet there - they were further along in the human stage. They ceased to be hominid and began to be human only after mixing with the white man - fertilization of a female Homo Erectus or Homo Heidelbergensis by a white man. Fascinating book, article unfortunately behind a paywall.
