Mental health of transgender youth in Canada: a high-risk comparative study.

The study examined mental health problems among transgender youth in Canada. The results showed that transgender youth have a higher risk of experiencing mental difficulties, self-harm, depressive episodes and suicidal thoughts. There is a need for action to protect and support transgender youth.
