Europe must strike a balance between environmental concerns and economic development. The EU's current climate policies need to be relaxed to avoid deindustrialization and loss of competitiveness. Rising energy costs and ambitious climate targets could lead to relocation of production outside the EU, threatening the continent's social model and economy.
