70% of white children recognize their reflection in the mirror at 24 months of age. In a group of Kenyan negroids aged 18 - 72 months (average 41mscy), only 2 out of 82 subjects recognized their reflection, of which only one took action (removing the markings from the mirror). A delay similar to erectus descendants, is shown by denisovan descendants.
