Researchers from Liverpool John Moore's University and Cairo University have conducted a digital reconstruction of the face of Pharaoh Ramses II based on his mummy. Through CT scans and analysis of historical data, they were able to create a realistic portrait of the ruler. The results show that Ramses II was red-haired and had distinctive facial features.
