The article presents the first DNA data from the Neolithic in Mesopotamia, Cyprus, Zagros and Armenia, showing the genetic mix associated with Anatolia, the Caucasus and the Levant. Two pulses of migration from the Fertile Crescent area to the early farmers of Anatolia are shown.
