The article presents the theory of an ancient invasion of the Aryans (Arians) into the Indian subcontinent, initially proposed by William Jones in the 18th century. The theory was discarded after World War II, but new genetic studies confirm the migration of Aryans to India. The Arians conquered the native hominid population of India (a mix with the Denisovans), and then established a caste system to ensure no mixing of genes with the Dravidians.
